God is a gracious God and has always been. It’s the only way anyone, at any time, could be saved! Those who fail to rightly divide will object that grace is not unique to Paul and that you can find God’s grace before Paul in the Bible. This is partially true, but there’s some nuance! Paul preached the gospel of the grace of God; we must discern what is new and what has always been true. God’s character never changes, but how He reveals that and that by His grace, must be rightly divided. The goal of this series is to clarify how grace has operated in every dispensation, be comforted by that, and what makes our message of grace today distinct!
